    Comments about Black Diamond Trail Compact Trekking Poles - Pair:

    The poles survived nicely on a 2.5-day backpacking trip despite the points getting caught between rocks and what-not a few times (my fault; not the equipment) and other minor stresses on them. Slight pre-blister irritation, but I adjust my grip at times to reduce rubbing on that spot. They are my first poles (I've used them 3 times now), and have made hiking much easier for me by allowing my to use my arms to take some weight and help me balance.
