Comments about Therm-a-Rest ProLite Sleeping Pad - Large:
This pad is great. It's lightweight and rolls up tight. Took it backpacking in RMNP in CO for a week and I'm excited to use it again. If you set up camp in the morning, just lay it out in the tent, open the air valve, and it will inflate on its own by the time you return to camp. If you want it a little firm, blow a little air in. Downside is our sleeping bags slid around on the pad a little bit. My girlfriend was a little upset that the only lady's color option was pink. She's more of a turquoise blue gal. But she got over it.

Comments about Therm-a-Rest ProLite Sleeping Pad - Large:
I have only used this pad twice on backpacking trips, so my opinion may change after a few more uses. The pad rolls up small, is fairly lightweight and does keep you warm (I know since I was pretty cold one night without it). My only gripe is that I am an active sleeper and often sleep on my side. I am 6'2" weigh around 180lbs and when I roll onto my side, the pad becomes pretty uncomfortable with pressure points on my shoulder and hip. This resulted in me waking up every 15 minutes or so to readjust/switch sides. So, if you are a side sleeper, you may want to take the pad on a test drive first.

Comments about Therm-a-Rest ProLite Sleeping Pad - Large:
Go for a large NeoAir for another $50 to give you an extra 1 1/2" of support, more warmth, lighter weight, and smaller packed size. Just look into it before settling for Therm-a-Rest's older pad designs.
