Comments about Timbuk2 Checkpoint Wheeled Luggage - 22'':
I ordered this suitcase about two months ago and have used it for two business trips, both lasting about 3 days. I have been very happy with it for both trips. It has space for everything that I need and enough pockets that I'm able to keep things organized. The flap kept my suits and dress shirts flat so they did not wrinkle and left plenty of space for casual clothes and a few books.
The wheels seem very durable and it rolled very smoothly. The handle is not ideal for people who like to put a briefcase or other bag on top of their suitcase, but I don't usually do that so it's not a problem for me. The handle is also pretty tall and is not adjustable, which is a little bit of a disadvantage for me since I'm not very tall, but I've had that issue with lots of other suitcases as well. It's also pretty light, so it's easy to lift into the overhead compartment.
Overall, the suitcase seems very well made and I think that it will likely last me a long time.
A few things that you can't tell from the photos on the REI site:
- The shoe pouch can zip flat against the front of the suitcase, so if you don't want to use it, it's easy to zip it flat and out of the way. Also, there is space in that pouch for two pairs of ladies' shoes.
- In the outside front flap, there are two (non-zipping) pockets to put things like your plastic baggie for liquids and such.

I put this luggage on my registry because I really liked the look of it. However, after just ONE use (I checked my bags), the wheel came loose on one side so the bag would no longer roll. I thought I just received a defective back and went a exchanged it for another one. The same thing happened on the very next trip I went on. This bag is great if you do not plan to be too rough with your luggage (or check it with the airline).

Loved the look of it. Well made stitching and well thought out interior space. Love the idea of using skateboard wheels and very easy to roll. My primary use for this is business and i travel international often. I have had this bag for 6 months already and most of my 5 trips so far something has gone wrong. Handle that extends gets stuck OFTEN and wheel came off and was missing. Had to replace bag and on my second. The zipper is also very hard to open and close. Fabric quality is perfectly made BUT engineering of mechanicals sub-par
