Combining trail performance with classic skate shoe styling, the Patagonia Boaris shoes transition easily from the trail to downtown sessions with the crew.

  • Soft and supple, full-grain and pigskin leather uppers are sourced from tanneries that strive to minimize harmful effects on the environment caused by their activities
  • Trekdry™ polyester mesh linings feature bamboo carbon infused fibers, providing excellent moisture wicking and odor control
  • Footbeds are made of 70% recycled open-cell foam and mixed with carbon and cork to further combat odor and provide natural moisture management
  • EVA midsoles absorb shock, cushion feet and provide gentle support while cushioning units in the heels reduce impact forces from heel strikes
  • Injection-molded arch shanks made from recycled nylon deliver stability and support underfoot
  • Low profile Vibram® rubber outsoles provide lightweight performance without compromising on grip or stability
  • Outsoles are stitched onto uppers which minimizes the need for solvents and adhesives

    I bought these shoes for a week in Disneyworld. I saw them in stores...they looked good, felt good. One down side. They run small. I had ordered a 10 and they were tight. So a i got a 10 1/2 and some thicker socks and no problems.

    I wore the shoes for 7 days stright...dodging stollers, kids, parents, ducks, falling soda cups, rain, mud, wet and sticky floors...no blisters what so ever. The shoes do pretty well in rain too.

    I've been wearing these for a couple of weeks now, and they've really been great. I was a little bummed that REI didn't carry all of the colors, but I'll live. The shoes feel well built (like all Patagonia gear) which is to be fully expected. I liked the fact that they have a Vibram sole, perhaps the most durable on the market. The stance is slightly aggressive, so I'm not back on my heels when standing for long periods of time, which helps with fatigue.

    I believe they run about a half size smaller than most others, so I'd recommend trying them on first. Also, I got mine in a brick-and-mortar REI store, so I actually tried on 2 of the same size because the first ones had a wierd lump in the instep... the second pair was just fine.
