Comments about SureFire G2 LED Flashlight:
What the specs don't tell you is the immense beam output; absolutely amazing! I have the old, non-LED version with ONLY 60 lumens output, and I could swear you hear the night rip when I light this up. It dwarfs the output of a 4D cell with xenon bulb, but fits in a pocket. Traveling in Mexico and China, cave tour in Jenolyn Caves, lighting up animal noises when hiking, you name it. I'm going for this LED version next because of the battery life. Don't loan it out because you'll never see it again; don't light up anyone's eyes or they'll have stars and headaches for hours (like my daughter did when "testing" hers).

Comments about SureFire G2 LED Flashlight:
Sure [$] seems like a lot of money to spend on a flashlight...add the higher priced CR123 batteries, maybe a red filter for star gazing and you could easily be forking over $100 for this flashlight---and its the starter model from Surefire. But the batteries have a shelf life of 10 years..add a no hassle lifetime warranty and its 80 lumens of brightness and this will be the last flashlight you need to buy. Its durable as heck too. I've dropped mine in a river with no ill effects. I've never moved up Surefire's line because there is no need. The only downside is mine gets a "little" warm with lengthy useage.

Comments about SureFire G2 LED Flashlight:
This is the flashlight I used during my entire deployment to Iraq. Surefire flashlights have always been my go-to brand in the past and this one did not disappoint. The biggest reason that I upgraded to this over my old one was the LED. Not only is the LED brighter, but the batteries last longer while using it. That is absolutely huge because, as any SF user can tell you, the batteries are not cheap. It's small and light enough to carry with you everywhere in a cargo pocket, yet durable enough to take a beating and still shine like the day you bought it. I can't recommend this highly enough.

This light is amazing! The battery life is great and so is the durability. It is not heavy and not very bulky. You can use this light anywhere and you wont have to worry about it dying out quickly. I have been using surefire lights in my profession for over 6 years and have zero complaints. You cant buy from a better brand!

Comments about SureFire G2 LED Flashlight:
I have several SureFire flashlights in my arsenal and this one is definitely my go-to, everyday, workhorse flashlight. What I really like the most is that this flashlight is small enough to put in my pocket, yet extremely bright for its size and has a very impressive battery life. The nitrolon (plastic) body is extremely rugged. I've dropped mine on concrete, on the trail, down the stairs, and it still works like the 1st day I used the light. The price is definitely high for most people, but it is definitely worth every single penny you will shell out for it.

Comments about SureFire G2 LED Flashlight:
This light really performs, is super light, and very dependable. I used it for the Leadville Trail 100 mile run recently and it was indispensable. In combination with a headlamp, running the trails at night made it feel like day.
The only negatives are there's no built-in strap attachment for the light. Also, I would prefer not having to unscrew the end so much in order to turn it off. When I stuffed the flashlight in my pack, it would sometimes flash as gear pressed against it. Of course neither of these are huge issues.

Comments about SureFire G2 LED Flashlight:
I got this for hunting, camping and whatever I need a flashlight for. It is the best flash light I have ever used. I took it up to deer camp last November and everybody was very impressed. It made everybody else's lights look like candles compared to my G2 LED, especially when we all drug my cousin's deer a half mile out of the thick woods of the Upper Peninsula. My light led the way. The battery life is just phenomenal. Great design and secure in the hand. Can't say enough about this little power house of a light.

Comments about SureFire G2 LED Flashlight:
This is a phenomenal product. It's very hard to believe that this tiny product can produce such a powerful beam of light - and not to mention the product itself is very light weight, but 'tough' as nails.

Comments about SureFire G2 LED Flashlight:
Wow. Pricey, but seriously worth it. This flashlight is bright! I like the size and durability. The beam is perfect. If you want a small compact flashlight with a strong, clear beam, then this is the one I'd recommend. Pretty good distance, too.
