      These shoes give good stability while still allowing natural movement. They have held up very well to more than 3 mos of regular use. The custom heel fit is very comfortable as mine is narrow, and these shoes don't come up too high on the sides (a problem I've had with other trail shoes). I haven't had any blistering problems with either hiking or running. Wonder if the person who noted this had proper socks? These may be too warm in the hottest part of the summer, but I think that's true of most trail shoes. Overall, I'm very happy with them and will definitely buy them again.

      This shoe would probably be better for running on a road or flat terrain. I found them to be very uncomfortable on rocky or uneven terrain. My feet were very blistered after a 4 mile trail run.
