Comments about WrightSock Cushioned DLX Socks - 2 Pair:
I am training for the Breast Cancer 3-Day (walking 60 miles over 3 days) and had a terrible problem with blisters. I previously bought the thinner Wrightsock (tab sock), which was too thin, got soaking wet, and did not prevent blisters as well as I hoped or expected. I tried these socks when they were offered at a very good price as "seconds" through REI.outlet. BIG difference and great bargain. These socks are thicker, seemed to fit & stay put better, and prevented blisters better. (I still very occassionally get a blister or two, but nothing major.) The thinner tab socks have been returned to REI, and I bought more of these socks (at full price) because they are that good.

Comments about WrightSock Cushioned DLX Socks - 2 Pair:
Normally I do my best to avoid wearing socks, but these have just about made me a convert. I went for a 15 mile hike in brand new cross trainers, and came home without a single blister. They can be a bit warm for Denver in August, but it's worth it.

Comments about WrightSock Cushioned DLX Socks - 2 Pair:
My main use has been long distance trail running, and also hiking. Have had significant problems with blisters in the past, but not a one since changing to these socks. They are a bit bulkier, and not as cool in warm weather as thinner wrightsocks, but the extra cushioning is wonderful for those long distance runs on uneven terrain. Wouldn't even think of starting off on a run anymore without these on my feet!
Service and delivery comments:
Arrived reasonably quick, items in stock, can't beat REI when it comes to service.

Comments about WrightSock Cushioned DLX Socks - 2 Pair:
At first glance these socks seem to be a good deal. But after the first use (a four mile run on a treadmill), I was already regretting the purchase. They're comfortable under light use, but contrary to the product's claims, I now have blisters on BOTH feet. They don't seem to be incredibly breathable or wick away moisture, but that could also be due to my shoes.
My old socks weren't very breathable either, and just soaked up sweat like a sponge. But at least they never gave me a single blister.
