Not designed to be a trail shoe. Tore out the nice looking side on the first hike.

Comments about Merrell Intercept Cross-Training Shoes - Men's:
This shoe looks nice, but it is meant for the office, not the outdoors. Stability and support are lacking. The shoe feels like a slipper after about a week.

Comments about Merrell Intercept Cross-Training Shoes - Men's:
I use these for day to day wear, and with the right footbeds, have no complaints. These are my third pair of Merrells, and i still have no problem with the durability, or reliability of the shoe. Can't speak to trail running or mountain climbing, but for a nice casual dress shoe, i love em.

This shoe is Awesome, great traction and support. I wear these in and out of the wildest situations, Long hikes through creeks and rivers they dry fast and are still comfortable when worn wet.

Comments about Merrell Intercept Cross-Training Shoes - Men's:
I just read the other reviews, which are way off the mark. I own two pairs of these and I either received two "special pairs", or else they are great shoes. I've worn these in the appalacian mountains and throughout every clime in Georgia. I have had no problems whatsoever. They clean easily and dry quickly. The only drawback: they are not extreme hot weather shoes. Otherwise, the only shoe that is better are my well broken in combat boots!
