Nice design, fast set-up and take down. A spot for everything. Pantry bag is roomy with two shelves. Unclip the pantry at night and put it in the car to keep the critters away. Storage bag is roomy and durable. Everything folds down and packs away easily. Best designed camp kitchen I've seen. All aluminum, should last for years. Very pleased.

Comments about REI Camp Kitchen:
This is a great set with one major drawback - I can't use my Coleman stoves because there is no place for the propane canister to sit, even without the windshield in use. (I didn't look at the pictures closely enough to see that they show a stove setup with a hose.) Otherwise, it's easy to set up and take down with lots of space. The pantry has a surprisingly sturdy shelf to store a variety of items.

This camp kitchen is so durable and sturdy and adds great organization to any campsite. The flat surfaces are great for cooking and prepping meals. The built-in wind guard makes gas-powered cooking a "breeze." It is very simple to erect and the lantern pole is a great addition to my campsite at night..not only for cooking but also as a marker to make my way back to my site in pitch-black conditions. The only con of this product is that it is a bit heavy...about 30lbs.

It really helped me organize my camp kitchen.

If you actually want to prepare food (as in chop or slice food) using this table, you may want to think twice. I am just over five feet and the side tables are much too low for knife work. If I do keep the table I will have to move the stove to prep food as the middle section, while still a bit low, is the only one that would work at all. The table is definitely too low for my 5'11" husband to use for food prep.

Comments about REI Camp Kitchen:
After many years of extreme back backing I am now introducing my family to the greatness of outdoor living. The first thing I noticed about this camp kitchen was that I really didn’t notice it. If you have ever been to a party and tried to balance a plate of food, a bowl of soup, an appetizer, a dessert and a beverage on your lap because there wasn’t enough room to sit at the table then you know what it can be like trying to prepare meals for the family at a campsite. The REI Camp kitchen made our outing a relaxing organized event. Thank you for the attention to produce a well designed product.
Slight modification needed to accept my stove as I wished to have it.

Used it for the first time camping this month. Easy to set up and lots of room. No trouble setting up my propane for my Coleman stove - used the standard "arm" that came with it (no hose), but I didn't use the wind screen. Stored dry goods, utensils, plates, etc in pantry no problem. Zip it up and the squirrels/raccoons can't get to it. used the hooks to air dry utensils & pots. Careful relocating loaded - you can bend the side tables. Easy to pack up and fit back in the bag. So nice to have room on the picnic table to sit and eat for a change. Bonus - got it on sale!

Comments about REI Camp Kitchen:
In years past we've used a small 2' x 4' folding table for our kitchen stuff, and then end up using other misc things to hold various necessities. This was definitely a huge improvement over that, the shelves and pantry area work very well. I did not use the lantern holder because I had it in a screen room with a ceiling that was too low for it. The wind shield does not work if your stove has a bottle that attaches directly, but that was not a big deal for me since my stove has a wind shield built in. Build quality seems pretty solid, easy to fold up and put away (just takes a minute or so to setup and tear down). The storage bag has 2 compartments which makes it easier I think, the table tops go in one and the rest of the unit go in the other.

Comments about REI Camp Kitchen:
I just got back from my first camping trip with the camp kitchen. There were 14 adult campers, so lots of food to prepare, and the camp kitchen made things go SEAMLESSLY. We do this every year, several times, and this is the first time that it's been so easy. I knew where everything was, all the time, and meal prep took half the time. One reviewer mentioned that you "don't notice it", and it's true - it's not the kind of thing that looks completely out of place in a campsite. It was truly the best car camping purchase we've ever made!

We car camp in Europe every summer and this kitchen has been a valued addition to the campsite. I no longer have to rumage around looking for spices, tools. My pantry is neat and tidy, no more smushed ceral boxes. I like that I am able to organize the kitchen just as I would at home.
