Comments about REI Comfort Recliner Chair:
The chairs are solidly built but still manage to be light weight. The problem I have is that the seat and arm areas have too much fabric. This causes you to sit low in the chair and wedges your thighs between the front cross legs. Reclining the chair back does stretch the fabric a bit tighter which helps somewhat, but not enough.

Comments about REI Comfort Recliner Chair:
The recliner works well and is very sturdy. Tilt the back up to eat lunch and recline back for relaxing.

Comments about REI Comfort Recliner Chair:
I purchased this chair because it had better lumbar support than other chairs I have tried. I took this chair camping with 14 people and let me tell you - this chair was the most popular! My husband actually fell asleep in the chair. For a portable camp chair - it is comfortable and sturdy! I like how the back of this chair is higher than other chairs because the high back provides support to my neck as well.

Comments about REI Comfort Recliner Chair:
Took this bag on a 1 week scout Camporee. Most comfortable fold up chair there. I was constantly booting someone out of it! Well-made, sturdy, rated at 325 lbs (no worries about collapsing at a crucial moment). At 13 lbs, was heavy for longer treks. Kind of pricey, but worth the investment.

Used it during our week's stay in Oshkosh, WI, for AirVenture, the Experimental Aircraft Assn's Annual Fly-In. It worked out very well.

We bought this for a recent camping holiday & all I can say is by the end of the 2 weeks away there was only one chair that everyone wanted to sit in...

Comments about REI Comfort Recliner Chair:
This chair is well built and is solid. However, the front of the seat is high and causes extreme pressure on the back of the thighs, and hinders circulation. Two hours of sitting caused sore, achy thighs for two days. Seat is high enough so that feel cannot be places solidly on the ground to raise the legs slightly to ease the pressure on the back of the legs. I am 6' 3" tall, so my legs are not short............but they for this chair. [...] If you're by an REI store, try it first. If not, and are mail ordering.........don't.

Comments about REI Comfort Recliner Chair:
I love this chair; roomy, comfortable, and the recliner feature is great if you like to lean back for stargazing or naps by the fire. However, the side-stitching on the upper pole pocket on my brand new chair sprung completely about one week into an extended expedition. The pocket itself held steady and the chair remained usable but I will be returning it for a new one since it appears I got a bum stitch; a double stitch would probably resolve this issue if others occur.
