Comments about Marmot Sawtooth +15 Sleeping Bag - Long:
I went through many bags before finding and settling on this one. The temperature rating on this is the real deal. Many times I open the bag and sleep with it on top of me. This is the perfect blend of weight, quality, function, and price. I am sure that over time someone else will get it right, but until then this is the only 3 season bag for me. I have used it many times at high altitudes in the mountains without any issues.

Comments about Marmot Sawtooth +15 Sleeping Bag - Long:
I am 6'1" and roughly 220 lb. I move a lot when I sleep and sleep relatively warm. I have the Long/ extra wide version of the sawtooth and LOVE it. This thing is huge. I can zip it all the way up, pull the draw strings and still roll around in it without being restricted by the bag. I can even put my arms over/ behind my head when I sleep and still be in the bag. It isn't all that heavy and super warm. The zippers glow in the dark and it has a small pocket for a headlamp. My only complaint is the stuff sack included is considerably too small. If yer a bit bigger or just need more room - this is for you.

Comments about Marmot Sawtooth +15 Sleeping Bag - Long:
Being 6'5" I needed to buy a longer bag, and this seemed like the quality choice (having great history with Marmot Products). I have used this bag for backpacking, canoe trips, car camping, vacations, and even light winter camping. This is the best bag I have ever owned. The zippers are very reliable, and the comfort is outstanding.
My only gripe is it absorbs water in wet conditions; however, these problems have only occured in EXTREME conditions, and I doubt many bags would have stayed 100% dry.
Thumbs up!

Comments about Marmot Sawtooth +15 Sleeping Bag - Long:
I have used this bag in very cold conditions in the high sierras as well as casual car camping with friends and it performs well all the time. It stuffs very small for my Aether 70 backpack leaving extra room in the bag compartment. I am 6'3" which is not really tall but I like the longer bag and it is great leaving me plenty of room. I would buy this if I were you it is well worth it.

Great bag, true to it's rating and I recommend this bag. Probably the best you'll get for regular backpackers.

Comments about Marmot Sawtooth +15 Sleeping Bag - Long:
I bought the Sawtooth to replace a Marmot Never Winter bag that just wasn't warm enough for high-altitude backpacking (it's a great bag for milder temps, though). I've been very pleased with my Sawtooth even though it's heavier than my previous bag. It's very warm; it stuffs down pretty small, it's got a great adjustable hood, and it's large enough for my restless 6'5", 215 lb frame. I use it in warmer temps by unzipping it and using it as a comforter. For the money, you'll be hard-pressed to find a better bag. The only issue I've had is that the material does not shed tent condensation very well - it will get a bit damp after numerous nights rubbing against the walls of my tent.

Comments about Marmot Sawtooth +15 Sleeping Bag - Long:
I don't camp in winter, but sleep cold in the spring and fall. I've had poly bags that were rated at the same temperature (15 degrees) that couldn't begin to compare to this bag. It is very warm, so much so that I don't use my liner anymore. It stuffs much smaller than a poly bag, so it fits inside my pack. I've only used it about 5 times so far, but I can already say that for the price, you can't beat the quality.

Comments about Marmot Sawtooth +15 Sleeping Bag - Long:
Good zipper, never snagged. I am 6'-0" so this was roomy but the regular would have been too snug. Wish they made a "medium" mens for all us 6 footers out there! Toasty on a 32 degree nite, the draft collar really works!

Comments about Marmot Sawtooth +15 Sleeping Bag - Long:
I've used this bag in many dif. conditions from the baron winter desert to the high sierras, it's a great bag all around but should def. come with a compression sack in the long version. Nice and roomy, plenty warm. I would have give it a 4.5 just because of the stuff sack, all in all another quality product from Marmot, I'm very pleased with my purchase.
