    I picked up 2 of these, one in this size and one of the large size. I keep the small one on my keychain, and yesterday it payed off. While helping a friend move, a situation arose that involved the tying down / securing of boxes. Deployed this little guy with some of my friend's rope [which was pretty shotty at best]. It was all we had. Followed the directions etched into the side of the Figure 9, and tightened the rope down. After a multi-hour commute to our destination, the Figure 9 held tight, which was impressive due to the number of bumps and turns which could have shaken the device loose. Needless to say when my friends saw how well it had worked, they were sold on this great, inexpensive little addition to the items I carry every day. Well worth every penny, even if you only use it once or twice a year.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
