    Love the versatility of height adjustments, 360 degree rotation and ability to change the clamp angle for seatposts, frame, etc. Is very stable and easy to clamp the bike down.

    Is a little bulky and heavy for easy traveling but folds down nicely so the travel bag may help with ease of taking it on the road. Have to tighten the spin knob pretty tight to keep the front wheel from moving up and down when really putting force on the bike (this is the clamp that holds the arm in place, not the bike so tightening it down does no harm to the bike).

    Overall, a great stand.

    It's heavy, but very stable and sturdy. And it extends quite high, so you can work on your bike without bending over. I'm glad I bought it!

    I got the Ultimate repair stand for me [...] in 2004, and it has gone through many bike repairs in and out of my Garage. The wifes bike is small, I have a large, and the Ultimate can adjust to any size bike for repairs and/or washings. It has always been a reliable and routinely used equipment in my collection of tools.

    I do most of my own bike maintenance and I've been using an Ultimate repair stand for years. It's design and manufacturing are high quality, and it works great. Highly recommended over cheaper inferior products. This is one case where you get what you pay for and maybe then some.

    This stand works great and is a great value, especially when you can find it on sale or use a coupon. I initially bought a bottom bracket support stand (from another store) but it wouldn't work with most of my bikes, either they would rock on the under BB cable guides or it would rub. FWIW most of my bikes are mid-80's - 90's vintage, they may work fine for your bike but this one works great with anything I could think off (with the possible exception of an Allsop Beam bike/no seatpost). The more expensive ones are lighter and the clamps are easier to close one-handed but this stand is a great value for a non-pro user.

      This stand has completely exceeded my expectations. This has to be the best value in a shop stand, and the portability and ease of setup are fantastic. Plus, it's small enough when folded to toss in the back of the Jeep for road trips.

        I use this stand both at home and on at remote repairs. When on the road, it travels on a bike trailer along with the tools. Folded, the stand is a little longer than the trailer and causes some issues with banging around. The extra length though, allows easier access to the bike than that of the lighter, more compact version of the same stand.
