      I always picked the Furio because it just seemed to fit my head better than any others. Then came the true test when I flipped over the handlebars at high speed landing on the back/side of my head and shoulder. The helmet cracked slightly as designed, but my head was fine. I went back and bought another the day after getting out of the hospital.

      Two of us in our riding group bought 07 models last year. At around 10 mph the vents start to whistle and as the speed increases the noise is worse. It's hard to hear people talking while riding beside us and forget an approaching car from behind. Road test this one.

        I commute 20 miles a day along the Erie Canal- half paved and half carriage road. This helmet just fits much better than any I've owned or the many I tried in shopping for this purchase. It does fit as it should, meaning it sits a bit low on the forehead, but this gives the added bonus of brushing away branches along the path.

        A well designed road helmet with good ventilation. I wear mine mountain biking too and it works great (no visor though). The chin strap is finicky to adjust and get so it rests under my ear lobes (hence 4/5 stars). It is great in summer, but chilly in winter (like most road helmets) - I wear a balaclava or lid underneath and it is toasty and blocks wind.

          This is probably my 3rd bike helmet that I have owned, this is probably the best fitting helmet out of all of them. I have had Giro and T.H.E. (an MTB helmet), neither come close to how well this fits me.I also love how it adjusts to your size using the mechanism in the rear of the helmet. The size-chart that Bell provides is very accurate, so go by that. Very lightweight, barely notice that its there, ventilation is good. For the money, this is a steal. My Giro was a [$]road helmet, very nice, but this Bell for 1/3rd the price is a no-brainer.

                  Good price for what appears to be a good helmet with ample protection. You really don't know how good a helmet is until you crash but it has the right safety certifications, the price is right and it is fully adjustable for a good comfortable fit. I bought this through the internet, had it delivered to a local store and it was an all-round good experience.
