Comments about Polar CS 300 Heart Rate Monitor Bike Computer:
Used this for 8 months and returned it. It is easy to use, easy to read on the bike, fairly accurate, and the HRM strap is comfortable. The downside is the SonicLink data transfer. It is incredibly hard to get it to sync the data from the HRM to the Polar software program. Being tech savvy, I figured I could get it to work. I even bought a high quality microphone thinking this was the problem, but it didn't help. The USB transfer might be better, but it is expensive. Especially when compared to a Garmin Forerunner 50, which includes HRM, speed, cadence and seamless USB transfer for 3/4 the cost. To make matters worse, there is no way to export my data from the Polar software to another application (even just a text file), so 8 months of training data are now the property of Polar. I hope they can use them.

Comments about Polar CS 300 Heart Rate Monitor Bike Computer:
Overall, this watch is ok for my needs. But need serious redesign and improvments. The look of it could be improved especially. As I do a lot of fitness activities and sports, the side buttons gets hit often and make the monitoring stops. wich mean i have often to estimate my performances. The linking with the PC is extremely complicated and it was one of the feature that make me buy it. The transmission with fitness equipment are also another feathur that are important for me. One down side is that it store only 15 activities and considering that the link with your computer is extremely harsh. Make your own conclusion. Another thing that irritate me, i wish i could have a software that can run to track my performance instead of loggin into Polar website training center. What would be great is if polar would make an apps for smart phone or blackberry. That would be awesome.
