      I like the idea of this item, but as I have started using it, I have noticed that it has a funny taste. I washed and cleaned it, but I can't get rid of that weird taste of the material.

      I must say that I love this splash guard, much more so than the Nalgene version. It helps that it is flexible, and has more grip to the inside of the bottle. I use this with the standard Nalgene wide-mouth bottle, and it bothers me just a little that the fit is not quite perfect. While it performs by preventing splash, there are small gaps between the rim of the bottle and the splash guard right near where you drink, so if you are not careful, you can get a little bit of extra liquid coming out of the bottle and trickling down your face. Basically, it looks like it is puckering just a little bit cause the fit isn't quite perfected. I still like it, but just be forewarned.

          Not much explanation needed here.

          Great product, works perfectly and prevents spills if you're trying to sip on the move.

          Easy to clean and once I wash it and the bottle, it stores right inside my 32 oz. Nalgene.

            I must confess, I thought up a product like this before one existed, unfortunately Guyot beat me to the market. I much prefer the Guyot Splashguard over the Nalgene Big Sipper. This little piece of plastic makes it so much easier to drink from your widemouth Nalgene without spilling all over yourself! You can even fill your Nalgene from a water cooler without removing the splashguard. Makes a great "for no reason at all" gift for the Nalgene user in your life.

                      I always spill water down my shirt front when I drink from Nalgene, especially when there are ice cubes inside.

                      Finally I broke down and bought a red one (with hibiscus) and no more spilling!!! I freeze my Nalgene one day and pour steeped hot tea inside the other and the splash guard holds as firm as possible.

                      I find no gap or pucker for the fit. It never got pushed down the bottle either. My strong black tea hasn't discolored the guard and there's no nasty taste in my plain water either.

                      I love it so much and I must get one more for my 2nd Nalgene (in the car).

                      BTW, I also recommend Built NY's Nalgene bottle sleeve. If you love cold drink but hate the sweating bottle, this sleeve will keep your drink cold for hours. My frozen tea in the Nalgene was kept cold for almost a whole day inside the Built NY sleeve!

                        I love this item!! It makes drinking from a Nalgene easy and splash free! I have tried the Nalgene brand guard, but this product is a lot easier to drink from. I would recommend this product to anyone who has a wide mouth Nalgene.
