    These fenders lasted for three years of year round commuting and some off road trips - and just today the rear fender upper mounting tab snapped on the way to work, after which the lower front part of the rear fender snapped on the return trip. They were mounted on my cyclocross bike. I'd still say these were some tough fenders - they also survived a lot of rough passages in the back of my truck. Bottom Line: Fenders, gotta have them, with splashguards, in Seattle. These are pretty tough and a good value. I'm buying another set tomorrow.

    I just installed these on my Trek 7.3 FX. The fenders themselves are high quality, but the install instructions didn't cover any special cases like installing with a rack. Further, the rear fender is a real pain to install. Their instructions don't mention the need to pull the rear wheel, but I ended up needing to due to lack of clearance on my bike. Of course, the clearances are particular to my bike, but I'd expect any higher end hybrid to be similarly tight.

    Also, the screws for the front stays weren't really long enough to both thread through the break away safety clips and thread into the mount points on my fork. This presented a problem since the next higher size screw was significantly larger so, it could have conflicted with my front axle. I resolved this by threading the screw with the head on the inside of the fork and used a locknut to hold the clip in place.

    Finally, the instructions are a bit vague and appear to be a poor translation from German. I'm pretty handy and was able to assemble the fenders based on the end result, but their directions were spotty at best.

    I would recommend these with reservations. While the install was a pain, these looked significantly more durable than the other fenders available.

    Good, tough, stylish, protective fenders. They are easy to install and do the job, I rode straight through a DEEP puddle last night and not a drop got on me! I am from the Portland area, so these will be put to the test.

    I put these on a Bianchi Volpe. I couldn't get them tight so I went to a shop but they were still loose. I tightened everything but the tire would hit the fender causing noise and wheel conflicts. Then my toe would conflict with the front fender. I took them off after 4 rides.
