      These socks are awesome. In my opinion they are a better value and more durable than smartwool.I purchased a few pairs [...], they were irregular's which even made them a better value.My feet stayed warm on a long glacier climb, despite my boots being soaked. The fit is great, whether you're lounging around the house and pursuing an outdoor passion, these socks are highly recommended.

      Used these on the John Muir Trail in Yosemite for a 3 day 33 mile backpacking trip. Wore in combination with a pair of La Sportiva Venture Mid XCR boots. Didn't get any blisters or sore spots despite tons of elevation gain/loss and 90 degree temps.

      I absolutely love these socks and wear them whenever I can. I wash them often so I can wear my 2 pairs several times a week. Being a travelling Physical Therapist, I am in and out of my VERY HOT car 8-9 times daily, these quarter socks are my very favorite and help to keep my feet feeling dry inside my Keen sandals. I have never written a review before, so I must really like them! I am purchasing several more, I like them so much.

        Even my always-sweaty feet stay dry and comfortable in these socks. I won't wear anything else for casual wear now. Essential when wearing Crocks. Pricy, but worth it.

            I love these socks so much that I stopped using all other socks for hiking, MTBing, running, and pretty much everything else. The only thing that drives me nuts is the fact that they changed the name, so it always takes me a long time to find them. I own the long and short (crew) ones and like them equally well.
