These 1"-diameter round crossbars are a main component of Yakima car top multi-sport rack systems.

  • The bars span your vehicle's roof between Yakima Towers, providing a base on which different gear mounts can be attached
  • Round shape makes it easy to install and remove gear mounts
  • Fits Yakima's Q Towers, Raingutter Towers, Hi Rise Towers, Double Cross Towers, Rail Rider Towers and Locking Rail Rider Towers
  • Round crossbars are available in 4 lengths; refer to Yakima Fit List for the minimum length recommended for your vehicle
  • End caps are packaged with towers, not with crossbars

These bars stand up to the rough & tough wear & tear that I can dish out on them. They really hold up. I've had them on my trucks for years! You can use them to haul anything -- bikes, kayaks, skis, even futons & wooden picnic tables!

    I've used Yakima bars for years and my only complaint is the end caps. When changing out the system the end caps collect debris and cause rust and break when removing them. I have 78's on a Ford Excusrion and they are the perfect size for 5 bikes or 3 bikes and a canoe. Other than the end caps I love them.
