Comments about Spenco Blister Kit:
I've used both the 2nd skin and the blister pads both as prevention and on blisters. They're both invaluable and are a MUST for any hiking (especially backcountry) trek. Many first aid kits include a few of these. As they're no weight or space I highly recommend bringing extra along.

Comments about Spenco Blister Kit:
These work well- provided you can keep them dry. When they get wet the gel becomes a gooey mess. (Trekking in the mountains can produce situatations in which blisters appear, and water crossings and/or rain make keeping them dry problematic.) I've used the brown covers alone to stop chaffing...works ok.

Comments about Spenco Blister Kit:
Carry this in my first aid kit - having a blister can ruin your day out in the mountains - weighs little and works very well.
As a Walking Group leader I even carry some for my clients use - this is where it gets used most and they are usually very impressed and relieved !
